From John - A Visual Astrology Reading

Dear Darrelyn, Bernadette & all fellow star-travellers,

Please forgive my indulgence, but I really I must share something with you all…

This evening, I’ve just done my first ever visual astrology / fixed star consultation with a very dear client of mine and I’ve come away from it feeling as high as a kite!! - (you can add this to you questionnaire answers Darrelyn!) 

It was an amazing experience - I’ve done this person’s chart a couple of times before and have been coaching her, through one of my intensive coaching programmes, for the past six months - and we’ve progressed a lot in that time - but tonight, by looking at her star parans, we reached a completely new level of understanding in our relationship.  She’s an extremely powerful (yet with a deeply troubled history) woman in her mid-thirties and I’ve always sensed an extraorindary air of destiny about her - like she’s a leader destined to make a real difference in the world primarily through her artistic sensitivity.  Her natal chart suggests she may achieve prominence and recogntion for a particular skill or craft (Sun in 10th in Virgo, Mercury on the midheaven in Leo). She has a dark and powerfully compelling intensity (Scorpio rising / Venus-Pluto conjunction) - she unwittingly played out the ’shadow’ archetype for the group on the last course of mine she attended. The chart in previous readings has led us to some significant breakthroughs in understanding and coming to accept and even embrace the darker side of her nature.  However, seeing her stars has so enriched the picture….out of it has emerged a completely new level of acceptance of who she really is. 

The minute I showed her Sirius as her heliacal rising star, and Sadalsuud as her heliacal setting star, a lightbulb simultaneoulsy went off in both of our minds - Isis returning from the underworld with all her dark knowledge and knowing so intimately that fine edge of destruction - whilst the sense of blessing, Sadulsuud, the golden path laid out before her - that as some level everything she touches can turn to gold - and it really does - this was something we’ve explored in depth in our coaching relationship.  A double dose of Acumen rising in parans - spoke deeply of the pain of childhood abuse and its associated guilt. Sirius culminating with Venus powerfully addressed the question of whether she should allow her poetic, artistic soul to shine forth - a resounding yes - and Arcturus clearly resonating for her as the pathfinder.  And a double dose Regulus on the nadir, in parans with Sun and Mercury confirmed that sense of destiny - that here was someone who destined for significant recognition in her later years, but shouldering a great responsibility for what she puts out in the world.   

The whole experience was an epiphany for both of us. She said it was the most significant piece of work we’d ever done together and it was like it had put her whole life into a perspective that she could now go out with a sense of real purpose and intention - drop the victim act and step up to the challenges that she always knew life had been offering her.  

This woman has forked out well over a thousand pounds to me for work we’ve done together in the past six months, and while that work has clearly created a strong basis for deeper enquiry, this little one-hour freebie - intended as a learning experience for me - has probably impacted her more than anything else we’ve done together!  Insight after insight was just pulsing through me as we effortlessly navigated around starlight together.  I feel like I did when I first starting reading charts!  Absolute wide-eyed wonder!
