From Rose-Marijke - thoughts on conference

Dear all,

I also like to contribute my feelings about that wonderful South-Africa
experience we had under the brilliant night skies in the southern hemisphere
giving us an insight in what Visual Astrologie meant to be.

After ten days more of intensive travelling on my own in that beautiful
country I am back now in Holland and will soon be “on the road” again,
therefore I like to share my thoughts with you.

The ancient astrologers knew the sky and everything what happened there
by what they saw and experienced. We, modern astrologers,are mainly sitting behind our computers.

So, to overcome this “split” we all had to travel to South-Africa to find unity
with the stars with its mythical and religious connotations.

For me, certainly a time of great inspiration!

Although the sky was not always brilliant and at times it was starving cold (for
me)I have been very much attracted to the Karoo,where the wide open spaces and
unpolluted environment benefit mind, body and spirit.

I thank Bernadette and Darryl and Nicky and Bipin for an unforgettable
event and I am certainly back to astrology and definitely come back to the Karoo in
Sout-Africa!
