Well, well….

 It rained at 7pm for 5 mins, then as the first guest arrived (appropriately Bernadette and Darrelyn) and it was TOTALLY dry for the rest of the evening!  So we see the Mundane Parans operating again, in emphasis because Mars was the ruler of the chart, and had Sirius with him in parans, see earlier posts for all the interpretations, from Marcia, Bernadette and myself.  I think it could be that in the daily parans, Mars had no stars in parans, so had no agency to act.  Either way it worked for me!
