Sagittarius and Jupiter and Families

Hullo everyone,
This is to add to Monika’s discussion - Here is the actual image, of Jupiter in the face of the archer… for those who are not used to “seeing” Sagittarius.
The whole area of research into star and planet parans or heliacal rising or setting stars has not yet really been examined in astrology. I think that we will find that stars establish themselves as great themes that run through families, like coloured threads in a tapestry. Indeed it would be an interesting topic for this blog for people to have a look at their family charts for similar star planet parans etc and post their findings here.
I suspect that what we will find is that certain stars will “live” in families - maybe picking up to a Moon in one chart or a Venus in another. If anyone has started to notice such patterns, what about blogging it for us all to start looking at.

I’m currently comparing and filing all my families stars up to 4 generations back - will let you know about results later (but YES - there seems to be a red thread)

Monika, you are already suggesting that this 12 year old is already displaying the warrior energry of the Archer, and a fiery independance at a very early age. She might use her Mercury Jupiter opposition later in life to rationalise or reason for a necessity for conflict, she might use comedy to reach a larger audience and be ruthless in her parody of political figures, she might fight for causes far from home - Unicef (Cancer sun) or other charitable services that require her to use her natural ability for military activity and her love of danger. But whatever she does, it will be noticeable, being in her 10th house of public identity and she will display focused concentration and committment in whatever field this is in. Are there any other characters in your family that fit this description, what did they do as a career? How did they move through the world?

Yes Nicky - I experience the Archer’s power every day!
I think, is not only Jupiter in the “hot spot” - looking at her Parans, there is a lot of emphasis on her Mars as well. Altair with Mars in her youth - adding a lot of drive to her Mars I suppose!
Furthermore in foundation Mirach and Ras Algethi with Mars - and of course Algol with her Sun (which probably contributes ).
You’re right, with her 3rd and 10th house she could be an entertainer of some kind or a circus artist (indeed she always liked very much to entertain an audience since she was quite small). She is a pretty good singer and likes to perform (whatever) in front of many people. Be it unicycling, stilting, holding speeches :), singing, producing scary videos, dancing ….tbc
Infact - 10th house Jupiter has tradition in her familiy. - and is related to the male branch of it. Her father has Jupiter in Leo in his 10th field. He is a very successful businessman (strong 2nd house - containing Sun, Venus, Mercury and Neptun) but he has an intense focus on social issues, charity, ecology, … (”we feed the world Jupiter..:”?) - Cancer on midheaven, conjunct Moon, ruler of the 10th house… (his 18° Cancer moon is btw. Alina’s Sun/Mercury position)
Her grandfather has Jupiter conjunct Saturn in his 10th house in Taurus. He has been a successful politician for most of his life (he has Leo rising
and still is an authority (although retired). The image of “The King” …..
What both don’t have, is her Mars/Saturn quality - she still seems to be driven by resistance - which is most probably the preliminary stage to focused concentration and committment ;)..

I can see some very interesting ideas arising from examining our family groups; not only, what are our ‘family’s stars’, but also who’s carrying the ‘family stars’? Who’s not? How far do they go back (a hot one for all the genealogy buffs out there)?
