A few Mundane thoughts

Glasgow 30 June 2007 15.15 - Airport attack

Hullo All,

With the recent attacks here in the UK I just wanted to share a few thoughts on my approach to mundane work and stars. These are not set in stone, nor I might add are they complete.

One of the first things I look for as they are so often present in most mundane event which are negative are:

1) Saturn doing “something” - and of course we are still in the grips of Saturn opposite Neptune.

2) The Moon’s node involved - I like to work with the mean node. Here you will note in the last few days - and for a little bit longer - Jupiter is what is called “at the bendings” that is to say square the nodal axis.

3) Mars and or the Moon involved in some way, and on this day (30 June)the Moon was trine Mars. Of course the Moon is aspecting Mars every few days but I have found that it is generally forming an aspect when such events are happening.

Now the above list is a set of events which can happen quiet frequently but I have found that if you scan through any set of difficult events you will generally find the above list of astrological indicators present.

Once I have located the possible signifiers of the event I then look carefully at the star parans to those planets. So in this case for Glasgow I would look at the mundane parans to Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune as these are slower moving planets. (I would also look at the faster planets, but only once the slow movers were involved. )

For Glasgow the mundane parans began on the 17 June, 2007 with the Heliacal Setting of Diadem. [For those of you that own Starlight open a chart for 30 June, 2007 Glasgow for 15.15 and then when looking at the parans select under “text 1″ Mundane Parans. ] Thus Diadem is one of the stars “ruling”

Glasgow from the 17th June to the 5th July when Arcturus takes over the position of Heliacal Setting Star.

At this time there were no parans to Jupiter or Saturn at Glasgow for the 17 June, 2007 however,

Neptune had the following:

Neptune - The Hopes and Fears of the Nation
Setting when Hamal is Culminating orb 00 mins 28 secs -
Upheavals over matters to do with oil or chemicals
Setting when Deneb Algedi is Setting orb 01 mins 11 secs -
The justice of the legal system or the law is challenged

Now granted it would be impossible to predict such an event from this, but I think the point is that we are not trying to predict these things but rather it is interesting to note that the events at this time will fit into a particular theme.

The theme for Glasgow at that moment is:

a) the establishment or law is challenged and
b) this will seek an expression through matters of oil or chemicals.

A flaming jeep full of petrol driven into the airport’s main entrance does fit this symbolism.

Also I would consider the placing of the planets amongst the constellations and when I look at the sky map Jupiter of course (being emphasized by being at the bendings) is in the stars of the Scorpion, an aggressive place as we have already been talking about this year.

Also the Moon which is aspecting Mars is doing so right in the bow of Sagittarius (have a look at past images of this constellation that have already been placed on this blog). Now the Moon will be in this position often but as with all things in astrology it is the combination which is interesting.

So these mundane Neptune parans are correct for the latitude of Glasgow but not for London - in

London the day before there were two attempted car petrol bombs but both were prevented and thus we did not have images of flames and burning cars.

There is much to think about with mundane events, but to my eye what keeps coming through is that “if” something is going to happen, and accepting the vagary of this “if” we can however, see from the star and planet parans for a particular place a enhanced symbolic description of the types of events that could happen in a particular place at a particular time.

The above is just brief, so please add your own thoughts…..
