Heliacal Rising star, Alkes and Shipping

So a little more on the topic of the V.A.N.
While doing the background research for the July, Visual Astrology Newsletter (VAN)on terrorism I came across two interesting cases which suggest some insights into the role of that the Heliacal Rising star can play in mundane events.
The first of these was the terrorist act of the USS Cole. The USS Cole was bombed by a suicide bombing attack against the US Navy guided missile destroyer USS Cole on 12 October, 2000 at 11.18am local time (time zone - 3 hours) while harboured in the Port of Aden in Yemen. Latitude 12N47, Longitude 44E57. (The chart has an ascendant of 4 Capricorn for those of you that wish to look at the chart). 17 sailors were killed.
The interesting point I wish to make is that the heliacal rising star was Alkes, the chalice known in modern terms as the crater. However, it sits on the back of the Hydra and is the cup which Corvus the crow seeks to drink. (See image in this blog). In the mundane parans Starlight’s delineation is:

A cup, a chalice, a vessel be it a person, or an object, is important.
Now when I first noticed this I simply saw this as one of those many coincidences that really does not lead anywhere. However….
The second event was the hijack cruise liner Achille Lauro.
Some 15 years earlier there was another terrorist event which was the hijacking of the Italian cruise ship Achille Lauro near Egypt. This happened on the 7 October 1985 just out of the Alexandria, Egypt. Now the location of Alexandria is 31N11 and 29E55 so although both events are in an October they are at very different latitudes. Nevertheless, at the time of the hijacking of the cruise ship (to my knowledge this was the first and last time a cruise ship has been hijacked) Alkes was also the heliacal rising star for this period.
So without unpacking the charts and the rest of the stars what these two events suggests is that although the heliacal rising star in natal work can have all sorts of spiritual meanings, in mundane work it may simply be suggesting what will take the focus, what is being highlighted or what can take “agency” and thus be centre stage.
