Eris heading toward Al Rischa

Written on December 24, 2007 by Catherine

Eris on Al RischaI noticed that the new ‘minor’ planet, Eris, is currently on the back of Cetus, heading for Al Rischa in 2047.  Al Rischa is the knot or cord that binds the two fish of Pisces together so it sounds like a uniting kind of energy?

Also in 2047, Uranus opposes Pluto. With Eris ruling change through discontent or disruption, aligning with Al Rischa, and the powerful opposition, it seems like that year will present a turning point in history.

I’d like to understand this better. I looked up Al Rischa on Sky Script http://www.skyscript.co.uk/pisces_myth.html and found that it is at 29 Aries 23, 9 s latitude, 3 n declination. Does this mean that I should look for when a planet has transited that degree and/or that declination? I have just discovered that Starlight can search for planets lined up with stars but just need to know the process so that I can use other bodies not yet included in Starlight.

A Starlight question: I see that it contains asteroids files from the Swiss Ephemeris but they don’t show up on the star maps, only on the wheels. How can I get them to show up on the star maps and also to make sure they are searchable in the Search>Find Charts>Generated Parans routine?

Thanks,

Catherine

    Greetings everyone,

I was just about to post the same question: how to add Eris/Xena, Sedna and Quaoar to Starlight so that their parans can be studied? In general, how different objects can be added to Starlight, including deep space objects currently available only in riyal32, which is a great, but not the most comfortable program to work with.

I’ve added Eris, Sedna and Quaoar to Zet8, but’ it’s options of working with parans aren’t really great either.

    Many thanks,
    N
