Solstice Mars with Nodes and Neptune

Hello fellow Viziers (shortened form of visual astrologers!)I was just noticing in my emphemeris while having my morning tea, as one does, that Mars will soon join the Nodes, right at the Solstice and when he does, he will oppose Neptune at the same time.  Pluto will perfect an opposition to the Sun by retrograding for the last time into Saggitarius, and Mercury will go direct. Now, I am not sure about everyone else on this list, but I am not fond of Mars on the Nodes, especially since Mars will have in the mundane parans the following:

Mars - The Events of the Day   Rising when Fomalhaut is Setting orb 00 mins 44 secs -                   The actions of a fanatic, or a dreamer, take centre-stage  Culminating when Menkar is Setting orb 01 mins 06 secs -   A violent act

If I increase the orb of parans then Mars will pick up Alphard as well as Murzim – neither are friendly stars.Furthermore, Saturn has the following in mundane parans:

Saturn - The Law and Civic Order    On Nadir when Facies is Setting orb 00 mins 41 secs -                   An attack on civil rights or groups of people

Setting when Bellatrix is On Nadir orb 01 mins 12 secs - Laws debated which seek education and rights for all groups - Arising and lying hidden

Increasing the orb by 37 secs, Saturn picks up Zosma – a star of victimisation.Neptune is accompanied in the mundane parans by:

Neptune - The Hopes and Fears of the Nation  Culminating when Deneb Algedi is Culminating orb 01 mins 05 secs -The justice of the legal system or the law is challenged

On Nadir when Deneb Algedi is On Nadir orb 01 mins 06 secs -The justice of the legal system or the law is challenged   Setting when Altair is Setting orb 01 mins 56 secs -Ungrounded, ill planned or fanatical actions - Curtailed passage

The Sun has in parans that day Aldebaran, and Aldebaran is the Heliacal Rising Star.If we look at the sky image (click to enlarge) then we see Mars and Saturn with the constellation Leo, Mars looking more aggressive, while Saturn is seeming more defensive.  Venus radiates Sun and the toe of one of the twins of Gemini, while Mercury is whispering in the ear of the bull, who chases the Sun into Gemini. (or Mercury could be taking the bull by one of the horns..?)The role of the media (Mercury) is going to be interesting when this somewhat violent/disturbing event takes place, that will inspire the nation to volunteer, and to serve minority groups (Moon with Markab in mundane parans) and the role of the Leader will be challenged.  The authority/military/powers-that-be will react strongly, perhaps too strongly – attacking a protesting group of people, and there will be an unhappy ending.  Law will change in terms of military action, minority groups will be restricted, because of the radical action of one person (Mars with Formalhaut).  One has to wonder about possible terrorist action, either here or abroad.  I am thinking that the Zimbabwe crisis (as part of the common wealth) might finally  erupt into the UK/EU arena, Gordon Brown will have to defend his leadership in terms of the aggressive criticism of fanatical leaders here and abroad, and if there are any actual natural disasters combining the energies of Mars and Neptune for example  gas fires, suicide bombings, martyrdom military action, or deliberate poisoning of water supplies to communities, and such like, then authority figures will act ruthlessly and with no restraint.Mars will be in the Egyptian terms of Mars, and will according to traditional writers therefore be ungovernable, and for the most part of the day, Mars is close to the Sun and out of sect, aggravating the situation even more.

Anyone have any ideas on how this solstice ingress might play out? I have not looked at eclipses yet, and no doubt Brady’s saros series interpretations will yield more, but my tea is now cold…

Best wishes Nicky
